- Description:
- T1 & T2 - mature Macrocarpa Cypresses - perform a crown clean on both trees, ie remove all deadwood and hangers to reduce hazard and improve appearance and lightT2 - remove lower branch back to parent limb to reduce shade and litter over neighbouring property???s decking area. Proposed cut is shown in photosT3 - Italian Cypress - remove to ground level. This rather dense tree is much younger than its two larger neighbours and was planted after the TPO was put in place. It has only developed full foliage on one side and detracts from the appearance of the group. Furthermore the growth of this species is vigourous and somewhat intrusive. As such, it will continue to grow up and out on one side, harming the aspect and therefore amenity value of the two superb macrocarpas it is competing with.Removing this tree will improve the group significantly, both in amenity value, and by freeing up nutrients for the other trees to take up and prolong their good health.

- Description:
- T3 & T4 - small macracarpa and leylandi to be removed to ground level. Young, fast-growing garden trees of low amenity value to be removed before they get too big, and possibly replanting with lower-maintenance shrubs.T5 - mature cedar to east of drive. Crown lift to achieve 16 feet / 5 metre clearance above road. See P1 and P2.T1 - mature macracarpa to be removed to ground level. See attached report VTA.T2 - mature beech. Lowest limb projecting towards garage, and two rubbing overhead branches to be removed. See P9. The lower limb appears to be in poor health, and has not responded well to previous pruning operations. See P11 and P12. Wounds are failing to occlude or even heal, with dark rot visible in the exposed cambium. This heavy limb should be removed before rot progresses further back to the main stem and potentially affecting other parts of the tree.Above the driveway there are two branches which have crossed near their origins. See P10. They have rubbed together over many years, preventing correct growth and weakening both. They should be removed to prevent future hazard from sudden snap-out due to accumulated stress at a point of weakness.
