Description:
We are requesting permission to fell 2 trees that are within 20 feet at the rear of a row of 6 terrace houses. An Alder (A1) and a Silver Birch (A2)They are in excess of 65 feet tall, towering over properties that are 3 stories high and are leaningover 8 feet towards the properties due to being smothered in Russian Vine and Ivy.. They havevastly out grown there position and are a real danger to the residents and their properties. In the recent storm we had, the Silver Birch was extremely close to the house and we were in fearof it coming down.Whilst other surrounding trees have been maintained these 2 have been neglected for many yearsand not only look a real eyesore but also give excessive shading and are a contributory factor incausing dampness in the houses. All 11 residents are in favour and are requesting the removal of both of these trees. Please findsupporting letters. The removal of these trees will have little impact on the surrounding area as there are many othertrees in the immediate area and if required, we are happy to replant with a more suitable variety of tree. all arisings must be removed from site and disposed of correctly .HAR/CA14.
