Description:
We are requesting permission to fell 2 trees that are within 20 feet at the rear of a row of 6 terrace houses. An Alder (A1) and a Silver Birch (A2) They are in excess of 65 feet tall, towering over properties that are 3 stories high and are leaning over 8 feet towards the properties due to being smothered in Russian Vine and Ivy.. They have vastly out grown there position and are a real danger to the residents and their properties. In the recent storm we had, the Silver Birch was extremely close to the house and we were in fear of it coming down. Whilst other surrounding trees have been maintained these 2 have been neglected for many years and not only look a real eyesore but also give excessive shading and are a contributory factor in causing dampness in the houses. All 11 residents are in favour and are requesting the removal of both of these trees. Please find supporting letters. The removal of these trees will have little impact on the surrounding area as there are many other trees in the immediate area and if required, we are happy to replant with a more suitable variety of tree. all arisings must be removed from site and disposed of correctly . HAR/CA14.
