Type:
Tree and hedge works
Status:
Status not known
Address:
52 The Crescent Davenport Stockpor
Description:
New owners would like to tidy up some over crowded and poss self seeded trees around the property. Also wish to introduce a mixed wildlife hedge row on the boundary to replace some young conifers planted by the previous owners. Please see pics. They would also like to include the very large pollarded horse chestnut on the neighbours property in the application as it has recently lost a large limb in the wind due to weak fusion points of the regrowth - proposing a safety prune in the near future to take some weight out of the new crown to reduce stress on the weaker areas. On this property: Remove large conifer rear, Tree A see pics. Poss reduce the height and retain but this tree is growing in the rooting area of an oak tree and tge owners would like to apply to remove to cover both eventualities.Remove little pine (TREE C) as growing right under oak - tree B - formative prune TREE E maple - formative prune Conifer tree F - reduce height as tree is blocking view from house of the rest of the garden. Customer wishes to retain tree for habitat. Front right border : tree J-? goat willow - formative prune.? Remove conifer hedge row and small fallen tree to make way for mixed species wildlife hedge row. Remove larger holly and road side holly ( trees H and I (poss self seeded) to make room for tree G - yew to prosper. Very slight crown lift on tree G. TREE pruning for this property is formative/subtle and proposed inline with BS3998:2010. I think the proposed removals are reasonable and based on my professional advice for managing the tree stock on this property. Crown reduction and thin on horse chestnut on right hand boundary are intended to improve safety and decrease wind sail. HAR/CA10, TPO#: 72N.
