T2 a Horse Chestnut. TW/21/2589 gave permission to remove the decayed trunk on T2. Further close inspection by an arborist has shown that the decay extends into the core of the tree making it potentially unsafe. There is evidence of canker, splitting of the bark and exposing the wood below to the branches. For this reason I now request permission to fell the tree and replant a birch tree in the same location

T1 - Sycamore. Approx height 15 m. Request to fell tree, reason excessive shading, was part of a former tree house used by previous owners children. This tree has been badly managed with poor pruning and breaking of branches in the past. The tree has a low amenity value.T2 - Horse Chestnut. Approx height 18 m. This tree has grown with 2 trunks, one with approximately a metre of bark missing appears to be rotten (identified in red) and is in danger of falling. Request fell / removal of rotten trunk.T3 - Walnut. Approx height 5 m, request to fell tree, reason diseased. This tree came into leaf in June, 80% of the leaflets are stunted and of a small size. Some branches when cut show rotten wood in the core. Even the larger leaflets do not appear healthy and full grown when compared to other nearby trees.T5 - Sycamore. Approx height 17 metres, request to remove 4 lower branches (identified in red) that overhang neighbours garden
