I would wish to fell the silver birch tree in my back garden (no 1 on the attached plan) as I fear it will continue to grow & eventually be too big for the area it is in. It would also allow more light to get to another silver birch behind it and an oak tree. I would perhaps plant a smaller tree on the boundary between myself and the woods (behind where the existing silver birch is placed)
