Address:
57, MOSS LANE, ALDERLEY EDGE
Description:
Description of proposed development We are proposing to extend the basement and the rear of the property to increase the ground floor area, provide a lavatory, extended kitchen and access from the kitchen to the basement. The ground floor extension comprises a single storey structure which will increase the kitchen area from 7 m2 to 25m2, to include kitchen, breakfast area, utility room, stair access to basement and a ground floor cloakroom. We also propose to provide natural light to the area by the use of roof lanterns/windows. The existing basement is currently 1.8m in height and on rough terrain. It is proposed to excavate to increase basement height to 2.4m height and extend it by 25 m2 to provide a fourth bedroom with two windows. All construction materials will match the existing. Discussions are underway with both neighbours at 55 and 59 Moss Lane, who may wish to use the party walls for their future development plans, if kept on centre line, rather than offset as shown on plan.
