Type:
Tree and hedge works
Status:
Status not known
Address:
50 Mauldeth Road Heaton Mersey Stockpor
Description:
There are 7 holly trees and 1 birch, as marked on the sketch plan submitted. My application is to fell the single birch (marked B1) and one of the two smaller holly trees (marked H6). The group of trees (G2) is now very high and very dense and little daylight is able to reach the living room of the house. The branches on the road side of the property are now overhanging the road and bus stop and have recently been hit and damaged by a large passing vehicle. I consulted Elmhouse Tree Services, who have advised that the Birch has a deep cavity running from the base of the trunk to a height of approx. 1.6 metres. (photos submitted). They advise felling this tree. The holly tree I wish to fell is one of two smaller trees closest to the house, not visible from the highway. i.lifting the hollies on the house side to around 3.5 metres ii. pruning the hollies at front of property to highway regulations iii. Reducing higher branches back from property by up to 1 metre. TPO 9N.
