30 The Street
Description:
Further to Breckland Council's permission of 4/2/22 under reference no. TRE/2022/0030/TCA, I wish to apply for permission to cut down and have the stumps ground of the two yew trees referred to as T1 and T2 in the report of Ravencroft Arboricultural Services dated 12/10/21. The reason for this is the proximity to the dwelling, the constant dropping of material from the trees which clogs up the gutters and drains and causes dampness and the growth of moss on the roof, the extreme shading created by the trees, the fact that they are encroaching on the neighbouring property; also the fact that they will need ongoing maintenance to prevent further nuisance, resulting in significant costs for tree surgery. I think it is more important that these trees are removed than the beech tree referred to as T3 in the aforementioned report, though this will need significant reduction if it is retained.
