- G1 - Cotoneaster: Reduce the lateral spread back to the boundary. Reduce the height on the client's side of the crown by 0.5-1.5m, to angle up away from the house. G2 - Oak x 2: rear boundary: Remove the lowest branch from the LH tree, over roof. Reduce adj branch back to the strong fork at 40cm from the trunk, leaving the right hand fork. Thin crowns of both trees by 20%. The thin is to extend to the branch tips, where the longest branchlet is to be removed, so as to slightly reduce the crown. T3 - Sycamore: Thin the crown by 20% approx. Reduce the top of the crown on the client's side by 2m to prevent tree overtopping the courtyard. G4 - Elm and Holly Group: Group of 6-8 elm stems and 1 holly: Remove the dead ivy covered stem and grub out any maple saplings in this area. Reduce the remaining elms to 1m from ground level to regenerate as a hedge. Reduce the holly to just above fence height as hedge.
