Type:
Tree and hedge works
Status:
Status not known
Address:
Longthorne , Old Midford Road, Midford, Bath, Bath And North East Somerset,
Description:
1. T1 Sweet Chestnut - Fell The above works are due to the tree being in an acute state of decline. Long term management planes have been attempted by the use of retrenchment pruning with no success. Due to the high risk location of the tree and for safety reasons removal is recommended. 2. T2 Sycamore - Reduce lateral Branching to the North west by approximately 2 metres leaving a retained branch length of approximately 3-4 metres. The above works are due to the impinging impact of the south western side of the complex. Works are to reduce this impact due to the close proximity of the tree. The works would not be of any detrimental affect to the tree or the amenity value of the area.
