- Previous Arborist report requested for the tree to be felled to the poor state of the tree. With all the leaves now fallen you can see it is not in a very good state and it was reported it was late to bud. I suggest an inspection before it buds/leaves in 2023. It was agreed on the previous application that a ???small trim??? could be done but this is not enough now. If the tree cannot be felled we need to get a fuller trim as when we had a full survey carried out the report included the following notes. See surveyor report section G&I (Full report to be attached). There are areas of the driveway which have lifted and broken up some of which has been caused by tree roots. These areas will need to cleared, relevelled and new concrete or slabs laid. The large tree to the front of the drive should be cut and trimmed back to reduce growth and condition. The tree to the front of the property is 8.5m away from the foundation line and there was no evidence of root growth that could pose a threat to the foundations at this stage. It has caused some damage to the concrete driveway which was evident. This could be repaired once the tree has been trimmed. The growth and spread of the tree should be monitored as at present it has a 12m spread and could do with trimming and growth controlled.
