- T1) Chestnut - Fell to ground level. This tree which forks into 2 stems at about 6m. has extensive decay in both stems (see attached photo 4730). This tree overhangs outbuildings and footpaths. It is surrounded by numerous healthier specimens. When sections of decay have been remove all that will be left is a 6m. trunk (assuming the decay doesn't run down into it) with a significant wound on it's top. The client feels that rather than have such a brutal pollard with it's potential for future problems it would be wiser to remove it now.

- T1) Chestnut (degraded fungal fruiting bodies on stem. Difficult to identify because of putridity but appears to be Polyporus squamosus) - Fell to ground level. This tree is in decline/dying (very poor and small leaf cover) with significant decay in stem in vicinity of fungal fruiting bodies.
