- Description:
- Large T1 Birch tree located on "TreeLocation" map - Currently tree blocks light coming into neighbouring houses (33 & 31) See "LightShade" doc. But also because tree surgeon's report below: "Large Birch tree located on the left side of the garden next to the border. On inspection of the tree there are a substantial number of burrs located all round the tree giving reason to believe the tree is under stress, the cause of this could be from previously being pruned, evidence of this is previous cuts not healing properly and causing rot pockets on the main stem. Further pruning work would cause more stress and damage to the tree so I believe a full removal is needed to prevent any future damage to the properties from a decaying tree" I would also look to replant a tree in its place. Small T2 Laburnum tree located on "TreeLocation" map - Currently tree blocks light coming into neighbouring houses (33 & 31) See "LightShade" doc. But also because tree surgeon's report below: "Small Laburnum tree located on the left side of the rear garden upon entry. The tree is showing signs of rot on the right stem (evidence in picture) causing the right side of the tree to decline and making the union weaker. I propose a full removal of the tree as removing the damaged stem would leave too big of a wound and would increase the chance of infection or decay". I also do not intend to replant this poisonous tree and will use the area to plant some vegetables as the tree is also too close to the boundary and foundations. HAR/CA26, TPO: - 60W.
