There were originally 7 trees when we purchased the property 10 years ago. Over the years we have lost 3 trees due to their poor condition. Damaged in high winds, these were removed by the canal company as they had fallen and obstructed the canal. We have lost part of one of the remaining trees due to the high winds in March 2018. The canal company removed the part of the tree that had fallen (photograph 1) but left part of the tree which is in a very poor condition (photograph 2). We had a tree surgeon out to inspect the remaining trees on Friday, 16th March. He advised that the 4 trees are cut back to a suitable height as he feels that due to their poor condition they could be dangerous (photograph 3). We are proposing to cut them back to a safe and manageable height. CONS: HAR/CA24
