The proposed work is a crown reduction on a birch tree in our garden. The tree has grown to such a height that its branches are now very close to overhead power lines situated at the back or our property and crossing our neighbour's property as well, and thus pose a risk especially during high winds. We wish to reduce the height of the tree quite substantially so that it is a few years before the tree grows back and encroaches on the lines again. However, we want to do this in a way that mantains the tree's natural structure and shape, so that its overall appearance is not spoilt.
