Address:
WOODLANDS, FRANKTON LANE, FRANKTON, RUGBY,
Description:
T1 Birch, tree is mature/over mature and in proximity to garage, two similar sized Birch have recently failed on this property, one due to stem failure the other root plate failure, the former collapsed on the garage causing significant damage. The failure of these trees has left the remaining large Birch without shelter from the prevailing wind and high winds are now becoming more frequent throughout all seasons. We propose to reduce the tree in height by 6m, (current height is approx. 21m) and spread on N.E. side by 2m, (current spread 6m), S.E. side by 2.5m, (current spread is 8m), S.W. side by 3m, (current spread is 9m,) and West side by 2m, (current spread approx. 6m). Reduction should alleviate some of the pressure on what is now an exposed tree. T2 Birch, prune back lower limb on W. side by 5m, (current length 6m), over extended and over garage, and limb at 8.5m height on W. side by 4m, (currently 5m) this work in conjunction with a 20% thin of the crown to produce a more evenly weighted and robust shape. T3 Birch, prune back over-extended limb on S. side by 3m, (current 6m) and thin crown 20%. Re-shape both trees after remedial pruning where appropriate.
