T1-Holm oak- part crown reduce western periphery of crown back away from the structure. Reduction will involve the reducing back to previous pruning points and where necessary removal of lateral branches back to the primary branch. Pruning wounds shall not exceed 75mm in diameter.Reasons-Works need to be undertaken to obtain a reasonable clearance between the foliage tips of the tree and Holyrood House. These works are part of the on-going long term management of the tree and will only have a low impact on the health of the tree and its value as an amenity feature.
