Pear Tree - T1 - fell because of shade to house and due to possible extension work in the future. The tree will be too close to the boundary of the extension. The fruit that the tree produces is all diseased and inedible. We have ordered a replacement obelisk pear tree to plant in the north corner of the garden away from the house as we feel strongly that if we fell the T1 pear tree we must replace with another pear tree (just in a better location in order to reflect our cottage name).
