- Description:
- Within the deeds of our property we have the ownership of an alleyway which runs between ourselves and our neighbours house. Originally our neighbours house was two separate dwellings, the furthest house had its own alleyway, the closer house had a right of way over our alleyway ( which then leads onto our front garden ). Since then the house has become one dwelling ( in 1989 ), we consider that this historical right of way has no need to exist. It potentially could cause an unnecessary issue to us and our privacy if a future occupant exercised this right of way. We have owned the house since 2007 and the current resident has never used the right of way. The front of our house has a private garden and the alleyway leads directly onto this front garden which we feel is an unnecessary invasion of our privacy given that the neighbouring house has it's own alleyway the other side of the house. We would therefor request that this right of way is removed to avoid any future issues to us and given the fact that it is has no detriment to their property see no reason for this request not to be granted.
