Lime T1 - Lime tree in our rear garden is in very close proximity to our property (4.5metres). We have experienced several large branches falling from the tree onto our glass Atrium which is causing concerns for safety.A recent visit by a professional Arborist indicated that the tree has been 'pollarded' many years ago and we can see that at least one of the wounds is decaying and showing no signs of healing. There is also a very tight V type union with the possibility of one or both sides failing.We would like to apply to top the tree below the V union to a safe and manageable height of around 3 metres, and manage it as a wildlife stump allowing it to coppice. HAR/CA10, TPO#: 72N.
