Tree species: Pine (Christmas tree) Pollarding is requiried because of excessive height. In particualr this takes light from the neighbouring gardens. One neighbour has specifically asked us to lower the height of the tree. It appears to have been pollarded at some time in the past. Photograph and plan attached. Description of the proposed works. I seek permission to have the tree pollarded again back to previous pollard point. The current heigh of the tree is estimated at 16-20 metres and it should be lowered by 3-4 metres.
