Type:
Tree and hedge works
Status:
Decision has yet to be made
Address:
8 Charlwood Terrac
Description:
The tree labelled A on the sketch plan is a crabapple tree, c.6 years old. We do not know the breed of the tree labelled B on the sketch plan. The tree labelled C on the sketch plan is a palm tree/yucca. - Our intention is to remove both trees labelled A and B on the sketch plan, at the rear of the garden. The rear wall borders a road (The Courtyard SW15). - We also plan to remove all paving on the upper tier of the garden and current flower beds, to be replaced with a rectangular area of c.32 square meters of grass turf. - On the right hand side wall bordering our neighbours at 7 Charlwood Terrace, along the upper tier, we will build a raised bed approx 0.4m high, in which we intend to plant a range of new plants that promote biodiversity. - The palm tree labelled C on the sketch plan will be retained and enclosed with sleepers. The intention of our works is to open up the space to be more friendly for our family and to promote more natural light into our garden, and that of our neighbours garden at 7 Charlwood Terrace.
