Description:
Alder trees T3, T4 and T5 on TPO/05/2023 at the rear of the house have branches and twigs growing towards the house over the patio area, require pruning of small branches and twigs around 1.5m. The trees are over 11m high and grew tilted towards the rear of the house and are distanced less than 5m to the house and spread close to the wall and windows. They are blocking the wind from entering the house area for ventilation and make the house hot.

Description:
The numbers are T3, T4 and T5 on the Order No. TPO/05/2023. All the trees at the rear of the house 26 Leah Manning Close have branches and twigs growing towards the house over the patio area. Those branches and twigs over the patio area, pruning is needed quite frequently. The trees are over 10 meters high and their main trunks grew tilted towards the house. The bottom of the trees distanced less than 5 meters to the house and branches spread close to the roof, wall and windows of the house. - Pruning and topping cannot fix the problem in long term since the tilted trees grow over towards the house, causing potential damages to the house and danger to the house users, as high parts of plants including fruits and twigs stuck the rear and even the front gutters (i.e. the far side) of the house very soon, while big branches fell occasionally and damaged facilities beneath the trees and endanger the house users. The said three trees are proposed to be fell and replaced by new ones of shorter and less spread species upon maturity to provide sufficient clearance to the house and safety to the house users. Cherry trees will be planted as they are suitable for the environment and commonly planted in the UK.

Description:
T3 Alder, T4 Alder and T5 Alder (TPO/05/2023) Reduce height on all trees to allow trees to stand at 8 metres and remove branches growing towards the house to give a clearance of 4 metres. After we moved into this House, we found that the front eaves and the back roof keep on dripping. According to the inspection of the operator (from the Hill and Cambridge City Council co developer) on 16 March, it is because of the accumulation of leaves, flowers and fruits in the drains, since the three big trees too high even cover all the roof. Even after cleaned, it will happen again monthly. Please give us permission to have tree top trimming so that the three trees are just lower that the roof bottom (i.e. the horizontal rainwater collection pipes), in order to prevent roof drains from being blocked and to protect the roof structure.
