December 2022

Type:
Tree and hedge works
Status:
Status not known
Address:
34 Church Street Great Shelford Cambridgeshir
Description:
5 Day Notice Mature Ash on river bank -On inspection of the base, I noticed that over 80% of the bark/cambium at the base of the tree is completely gone, leaving just a thin strip of cambium at the back (please see attached photos etc). This combined with a progressive lean towards the 'Bake House' which is Grade3 listed leads me to the conclusion that this tree needs to be condemned.Tree to be removed to 3m monolith. 2 new native broad leaf species to be planted in more suitable location.
