- Address:
- 9 Weavers Fold New Road Side Rawdon Leeds
- Description:
- T1 Pussy Willow - Fell because of excessive, shading low amenity value and existing and potential damage caused by growth. Replace with either a Rowan or Birch Tree. The tree is in a residential area and is an inappropriate species for this location. It has clearly outgrown its location. Because of the size and density of the canopy of the tree the light and sun cannot penetrate and we are unable to enjoy the amenity of our garden. In Spring the fall of the catkins on to the path, the grass and the plants is so substantial that it seriously effects growth, is a potential slip hazard and necessitates a major clean up. The tree has caused damage to the stone boundary wall between 21 Harrogate Road and 9 Weavers Fold and this damage will only increase as the tree continues to grow. The tree branches were touching the building of 21 Harrogate Road.
