- Description:
- The client has a large oak tree that needs our attention. The tree has been left for some time and has a large amount of deadwood in the canopy. The tree was reduced back around 10-15 years ago and has regrown from the olds cuts. The tree seems in good health although it is showing signs of stress such as thick epicormic growth on the trunk and the self lion tailing of certain larger limbs. The client loves the tree and wishes to retain it but wants to ensure its longevity. A Crown clean of the tree would reduce the risk of failure. The canopy could also be reduced by 1-5 meters as required to reduce certain limbs which we suspect could have a higher risk fo failing. A Canopy survey will be conducted while the work is in progress to provide the client with a more in-depth plan for the future,
