*This price paid record has been flagged by Land Registry as a 'Category B: Additional Price Paid entry'. This could be due to a variety of reasons, such as the sale being a buy-to-let purchase, a repossession or a transfer to a limited company. When Land Registry suspects that a sale does not reflect full market value (e.g. part-ownership or right to buy), these transactions can be flagged as well. For this reason, we exclude them from our area statistics.

Address:
The High House 37 Oxford Street Newbury West Berkshire
Description:
T1 & T2 - Conifer trees - fell due to very close proximity to properties and risk of damage to property and people. We are concerned the roots will encroach upon and damage the foundations of the house as detailed in a recent building survey of the property. The trees cast a very large shadow over the garden. Furthermore one is in poor health and both conifers are increasingly smothering an old apple tree which we???d like to protect.T3 - bay tree - fell. The bay tree is also in close proximity to the house and increasingly smothering the same apple tree.T4 (conifer tree) & T5 (conifer hedge) - fell both. The conifer tree is overgrown presenting a risk to property and people. Furthermore it is smothering a lovely rowan tree which we'd like to protect. It is growing within a conifer hedge (T5) which is also overgrown, in poor health having been cut back aggressively in the past, with low amenity value. The garden will retain many trees and we'd like to replace the trees felled.
