Description:
Referring to the notice number 24/00018/TPC, I am undertaking the work to remove the laurel tree. The contractor however discovered that the holy tree that is supposed to be pruned is damaging the front wall and the wall of number 17. I wonder if there is a possibility for me to remove the holy tree and replace all existing trees with Portuguese laurel as proposed in the plan

Description:
main tree cherry laurel and within it is a holly bush - cut back to the property boundary. attachment letter from Hampshire Highways, but they will cut back the tree on 8th July if haven't done it already. It would be such a shame if there was no oversight of what they plan to do, so I'd be grateful if a decision could be made as soon as possible. My tree surgeon is able to carry out the work before 8th July, by the way. What HCC want is a vertical prune on the road side, so about 1-1.5 metres and to balance the weight, I'd need to prune about the same on the other side. The height would need to be reduced similarly so the telephone wires aren't pushed up any more.
