- Type:
- Tree and hedge works
- Status:
- Status not known
- Address:
- 14, POPPY DRIVE, RUGBY, RUGBY,
- Description:
- T1 Oak, Property owner has had a arboricultural survey conducted following subsidence to the rear of her garage, the Oak has not been implicated in this but the property owner has been advised that to be able to retain insurance for her property the Oak must remain at its present size and be, thinned or reduced, regularly to maintain its moisture uptake at present levels. After inspecting the tree and having worked on it previously, I propose to further reduce weight on the lower limb to the S.E. side of the tree, (wound on this side has advanced further into the tree,) by pruning back by approx.3m to remove weight but retain screen to neighbouring properties. There is also a central leader, (one of three) that also has a compromised section of wood at 3-4m from its tips in the mid-upper crown, again this will be pruned by approx 2.5 from its tips to reduce loading on the wounded section. Thereafter a crown inspection for any further defects and removal of these parts until the appropriate amount of thinning is achieved.(30%)
