Description:: Large Silver Leafed Lime Tree. This tree has been previously reduced and thinned. There is also steel cable bracing throughout the crown. There is internal decay in the bough which connects to the trunk on the east aspect of the tree. There is no visible signs of fungal growth or die back within the crown The position of the tree is, adjacent to the house and 4 way road junction with a number of BT cables running underneath the canopy which also overhangs the house and road ways. The tree is visually monitored annually this has shown that remedial tree work is necessary for health and safety. Proposed work ; To reduce the crown back to where it was previously reduced to. This work would reduce the height of the tree by approximately 4 metres. This will also reduce tension on the cable bracing and junction of the two main boughs. There is a small amount of epicormic growth within the crown which would be left.
