- Description:
- T1 Sycamore - We propose thinning the canopy by 30% volume to increase light and air movement to the rest of the garden. This would be completed in line with BS 3998:2010T2 Whitebeam - Fell to ground level. This tree has significant basal decay up to 1m from the ground and is completely hollow at the base. The roots do not have structural integrity and the tree is in danger of falling in the garden. See Figs 3-6. To be replaced with a 3m high whitebeam within 5 meters of the original location.T3 Whitebeam - Fell to ground level. This tree has a fork at approximately 0.75m high. The northern stem (See Photos) of which has died and begun to decay. This has led to necrosis of the trunk below the fork, reducing structural integrity and increasing the likely hood of a fall on to the bordering wall or building. Replace with a white beam of 3m in height within 5 meters of the original locationT0 Maple - Fell to ground level. This is now a dead monolith. (See Photos)
