Description:
Description: 4x large mature multi-stemmed poplars (Populus spp.) located on boundary between 'Shepway', Kennington Road, and 'Brisley Rise', Kennington Road. All specimens have been previously reduced at least 25 years ago, and show branching of a new crown from these points of previous reduction. All four specimens are to be reduced in height to a resultant height of five metres. Reason for reduction is proximity to buildings (main house at Shepway), and road (Kennington Road). The specimen furthest from the road is not of such high risk due to smaller size and greater distance from house, though the client and myself would rather do a complete job on all four trees to prevent further works having to be carried out within the next five years. Work is intended to allow regrowth from the stem, to maintain the trees screening and habitat and conservation purposes. The surrounding sycamore trees and shrubs maintains good visual screening and habitat value for wildlife.
