Address:
12 Hawthorn Road Heaton Mersey Stockpor
Description:
Along the path from Hawthorn Rd to Heaton Mersey Common there are 7 trees that are creating excessive shading to 12 Hawthorn Rd. Shading causes poor growth of lawn and moss growth. Several of the branches of the trees also grow across the boundary into 12 Hawthorn Rd. Some of the branches are reaching the garage at 12 Hawthorn Rd causing damage to the garage roof. The trees are on the land owned by St John's C.E. Primary School and I have requested them to do the work on the trees but they have declined to do it due to financial budget pressures. The school headteacher Andy Clerk has agreed to let me arrange for this to be done. Approval is in the form of an email which can be presented by request.Requesting to perform crown thinning (between 5% and 20%) to all trees along the path and crown lifting to give a 5m ground clearance Tree species are Cherry blossom, Hawthorn and other unknown trees. See the provided photos and sketch with references accordingly to below:A - cutting/removing the branches that grow over the boundary. B - crown thinning and cutting/removing the branches that grow over the boundary. C - crown thinning. D - crown thinning. E - crown thinning and cutting/removing the branches that grow over the boundary. F - crown thinning and cutting/removing the branches that grow over the boundary. G - crown thinning and cutting/removing the branches that grow over the boundary. Separate from the above, there is also one tree, possibly an oak, that sits in Heaton Mersey Common which grows on to our fence at the back of our garden. Recently one large branch of the tree snapped by itself and fell into our garden. Other parts of the tree are in bad shape. This tree will damage our fence and large parts of it reach over the fence onto our boundary.H - fell because of damage to our fence and excessive shading. there is a Birch tree in our back garden that needs thinning due to excessive shading of the garden.
