Description:
T1 Sycamore, T2 Ash, T3 Sycamore, T4 Sycamore, T5 Silver Birch - are overhanging the boundary and roof of our house - some branches touching/laying on our roof. Our fee is damage to our roof (and 2 x velux windows) if the branches break or move during windy weather. We have already replaced one velux window probably damaged before we moved in - Sept 2012.Foliage in the autumn is also immense - gutters/downpipes are already blocked this year, causing water overflows during rain. We would like to trim them back to the boundary, for the longer branches, this would be a reduction of approximately 1.5m or 30% of their length, none of the proposed branches are more than 10cm in diameter and all are considerably less than 1-cm at the point of which they would be cut. None of the trees hold (in our opinion) great amenity value - none are grand old oaks for example. We do not propose any reduction in height or any other work beyond taking them back to the boundary.Tree 5 is overhanging the boundary causing excessive shade and damp/ness in the garden. Once again, whilst the tree surgeon is here we would like to trim it back to the boundary (again for the larger branches, a reduction of about 30%). Our neighbour (the trees owner) has no objections.
