- I have a Fir Tree at the bottom of my garden that is about 15ft high and about a metre wide at the base. I have spoken to a Tree Surgeon as I Initially considered having it reduced and pruned but his advice was that due to tree type and position it's better to remove it which is what I would like to do as it's got too high and is obstructing access to my shed. It backs on to a car park and I worry too that if it came down it might hit a car. In order to remove the tree I require permission as I live in a conservation area. I have had a quote from a registered Tree surgeon to remove it and will using a qualified person to remove it.
