Description:
Tree 1 (fir tree) - To fell. Conservation area, planted in the boundary border, and banging against next doors property (332), causing a disruption, and potential damage. Also risks causing damages to brick wall. Photo attached. Won't be replaced as on a boundary with brick wall, with tree causing risk of future wall disruption / collapse. Believe removal is an agreed condition for planning application DC/042285. Tree 2 (Sycamore tree) -To fell. Appears to be have evidence of bleeding canker disease in the upper limbs. Discussed with arborist who felled tree (planning approval DC/077133), in order to avoid further spread. Also repeated instance of branch fall, and given proximity to proposed property front (planning approval DC/042285) this will result in danger to property entry. This tree is screened by other trees and not visible outside of the plot (330). A Yew tree to be planted in its place, well fitting for the wider trees on the plot.Tree 3 (Chilean pine tree) - to fell. Non indigenous species which is being stunted by the surrounding pines. Considerable discolouring to the branches which indicates lack of light, given its sheltered location. Tree risks damage to surrounding indigenous pines which we want to protect and preserve. A Yew tree to be planted in its place, again better fitting for the wider trees on the plot.Trees 4,5,6 & 7 (pine trees) - crown lift, by c20%. This will tidy up loose / singleton branches and is required for planning approval, and take back to previous pruning points.Trees 8,9,10 & 11(sycamore trees) - lateral pruning by c25%. Taking trees back to previous pruning points, and preventing overhang to approved planning application DC/042285. HAR/CA30, TPO#: 123W, TPO#: 334W.

Description:
There are two very tall Pine trees overhanging our rear garden by approx 7 metres. Falling branches (some nearly 2 metres long) have come into our garden where our 6 year old grandaughter plays (she lives with us permanently, I am concerend that she may be injured by these. Also, bird droppings sometimes fall on our clothes hanging on the clothes line (when the line was installed over 6 years ago, the tree did not overhang that far). We had permission in April 2013 for these trees to be removed, but we didn't proceed at that time (Application No.DC 052570).We then applied to have the branches cut back under Application No.DC 058845, but we are concerned that by cutting the overhanging branches, the trees will become unsafe and could fall onto our house. We therefore feel that the only answer is for them to be removed - which we will have done if our application is approved.
