These trees have grown over the years and now encroach into the neighbouring oak and particularly the Scots Pine depriving them of room and light. There are 5 other Robinia in the stand so we will not be losing much of them. Fell one Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus) and reduce the height of two more, marked 5 on the sketch and highlighted and circled in orange. These are also crowding out the Scots Pine. Fell a self seeded Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus) marked 6 on the sketch hightlighted and circled in orange. No amenity value. Prune back the Magnolia on the south wall of the house indicated with orange arrows. The tree is falling away from the wall. Prune the Indian Bean Tree (Catalpa) which is crowding the Magnolia and interfering with the house, also marked with orange arrows.
