- Description:
- I would like to remove a Scots Pine from my garden (back). The tree is very tall and every time there is a strong wind it loses branches. Its roots have started to come through the garden grass and I am concerned that they are going to damage the house. We consulted a tree surgeon who told us that Scots Pines are 'forest trees' and shouldn't be planted on their own, which might explain its branch loss. The tree also considerably shades the garden. This wasn't a problem when we first moved in 16 years ago, but as the tree has become so tall, it now is an additional issue. CONS: HAR/CA15, TPO: 18N
