- THE STABLES FITZJOHNS, BARBY ROAD, RUGBY,
- Description:
- T1 - Oak - Situated on verge of Barby Road between entrance to the stables and the adjacent field gate to the south, tree has been losing limbs over the past two years close to the carriageway. The last limb to break out showed that the main stem is hollow and thin walled unable to support load. The crown weight is biased away from the road but due to recent events, the unpredictability of failure and proximity of the road I now feel that the tree should be cut to a height of 5m that poses no risk to road users but still retains useful habitat.
