- Description:
- T1- Holm Oak - Re-pollard, cutting and retaining suitable secondary growth points. Not cutting back beyond established pollard points. Reason: to maintain health and longevity of tree. T2-T5 - Yew - Reduce height by up to 3m, cutting to 5m from ground level. Shorten lateral growth by up to two metres. Reason: spindly group of trees suppressed by surrounding trees. Reduce to maintain habitat and retain as a lower level hedge/screen.

- Description:
- T1 & T2 - Sycamore - Fell. Reasons: a pair of boundary trees whose mature canopies conjoin. Size, proximity and shade is now considered oppressive to neighbouring properties, especially 70 Farnham (the oldest property in the village). Canopy reduction has been considered and, on balance, isn't appropriate. Primarily because pruning this vigorous species will result in a dense canopy in the long term. Furthermore it is worth considering that copper beech trees, planted due south, by the current owner some years ago are now well established. Canopies of these trees are beginning to merge. To avoid a closed canopy cover and promote the amenity of the area the sycamore are favourable to remove.
