T1 Ash - We need to remove the tree as it has Ash-die-back disease. The tree is clearly showing the disease, and the diagnosis has been has been confirmed by Ben Sherrard of Bowman Arboriculture Ltd on 3rd October 2023. The tree will die and branches are likely to fall off. The tree overhangs a well-trafficked ginnell that runs between School Lane and Main St A58. It will therefore cause a health and safety hazard to pedestrians if it is not removed.We intend to replace the Ash tree with a British native tree, either a Rowan or Hawthorn.
