- Description:
- Lime Tree- fell because falling limbs are a danger and have already dented two cars this year. It has for the first time this year it exuded a sticky substance constantly and not as is usual, just when it is coming into flower. This has made a mess of the cars and attracted 5 wasp nests in the eves of the house. There is also a large hollow about 6metres up the main trunk which may not show on the photos. I am also concerned that if we had some very high winds and it blows down it would fall across the house. It is a lovely tree and it would be a shame to completely remove it, but I fear for our safety and the safety of others passing up the drive, for which I may be liable.
