Description:
T-36 Horse Chestnut - Severe 'bleeding canker' on lower stem. Suggest: Fell to ground level. The original tree report dated from 2018 shows some signs of bleeding canker but when I recently visited it was clear this has progressed and become much more significant. Please see photo. We had originally suggested a crown reduction to lessen the wind sail but I'm now of the opinion this tree is very unlikely to recover and have recommended it's removal.
