What is CCOD and OCOD corporate ownership data?

CCOD is the Commercial and Corporate Ownership Data published by HM Land Registry: UK-registered companies and other corporate bodies that own property in England and Wales. OCOD is the Overseas Companies Ownership Data: legal owners incorporated outside the UK. Together they show corporate and overseas company ownership of registered land.

Can I find overseas companies that own UK property?

Yes. Overseas company ownership records show the proprietor name, country of incorporation, and the Land Registry titles linked to that owner. HouseMetric combines this with title addresses so you can see which properties an overseas company owns.

What information is shown for each company?

For each matching company you can see the registered owner name, company registration number where available, country of incorporation, and a count of Land Registry titles owned. Selecting a company shows individual title numbers, property addresses, proprietor address, and dates the ownership record was added.

CCOD covers proprietors that are UK companies and similar corporate entities registered in Britain. OCOD covers owners incorporated abroad.
