1no. English Oak (T1) - Fell. Tree is exhibiting poor physiological form, significant die back from canopy tips, retrenchment, sparse foliage & some chlorosis of leaves. Main stem shows considerable wounding, with a 1m x 0.5m wound to the bark, exposing sapwood, separated by a thin cambial layer. The wounding has some secondary growth, or wall 4 of CODIT. The stem is covered in brown/black lesions from the wounding with a dark exudation, consistent with Phytophthora ramorum. Applicant proposes to replace with 1no. Quercus petraea, 1no. Acer griseum, & 1no. Liquidambar styraciflua.
