- Description:
- I have already had Rod Barnes, a local tree surgeon out to look at the works. He advised me that I need to apply to the LPA first but agreed that the trees were causing an issue. He also suggested that I get the permission of those people whose property the trees are on. Which I have already done. In each case the owners were happy for me to proceed with my application. There are 4 trees that require work. Tree 1 - Owner Sue Sedgley, 2 The Grove SK8 7NA-0161 439 8169 The Oak requires tidying, lifting and thinning. It is causing serious encroachment leaving litter and damp damaging gutters. In addition acorns are being shed onto cars. Trees 2 & 3 - Owner Mike Firth, 4 The Grove SK8 7NA - 0161 439 6042 Tree 2 is a Chestnut and causes serious encroachment leaving litter and damp damaging gutters and shedding conkers onto cars. It requires pruning back to the boundary. Tree 3 is an Oak and causes similar problems. It requires pruning its lowest limb back to hedge level. Tree 4 - Owner Ivor Jones, 6The Grove, SK7 7NA - 0161 440 8162 - Requirement is to remove the two lowest branches of the Oak. It causes serious encroachment into the garden, blocking light and hanging dangerously low when laden with leaves. It protrudes in a southerly direction. I have lived here 7 years and have tried to live with the encroachment but now fear that the falling debris may soon cause general but serious damage especially in high winds. TPO 307W
