- Following a visit from Tree Surgeon (Arborfore Tree Services) on 4/8/20 please find below the proposed works and reasons. Horse Chestnut Tree (1) - the tree which have significant cracks showing. These cracks has got significantly worse over the last 5 years (photos from 2015 & 2020 attached). The proposal is for the cracked limbs to be removed, a 15% canopy thin and lift, and the removal of dead wood to help reduce the weight and stain on the tree. Lime Tree (2) - Proposal to draw back the 2 limbs which are hanging over the property on Castle Lodge Mews by 3 meters (to a suitable pruning point), removal of epicormic growth, remove deadwood and complete a 15% thin of the tree.
