Tree references are taken from Tree Preservation Order Werneth Road, Woodley No.1.Beech (T77)- Crown lift to 6 metres from ground level and clear adjacent branches to street lamp and lantern on public footpath. Crown clearance of deadwood and crown thin of 10%.Oak( T78)- Crown lift removing lower secondary laterals to give 6 metres clearance from ground level. Remove lower branches on the main stem to the canopy break.Crown clearance of deadwood and crown thin of 20% to allow free passage of wind and reduce the sail effect. Reduce end weight on northwest side by branch reduction on two limbs by up to 2 metres making cuts of no more than 50mm thickness, ( the overhanging has been caused by the competition from the adjacent trees).Refer to sketch plans SK001 and SK002.We consulted a tree surgeon to advise on the specification of the work, Mr R Stephenson, Tower Forestry an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor.
