- The large sycamore tree is in the middle of our garden, and south of our house. It casts shade over much of the garden, and we are applying to have the crown raised by removing the bottom 3 branches to let in more light. The tree has many large branches and removal of the bottom three will not significantly impact the overall size. Note there is a stump of a branch at the very bottom of the canopy which has sprouted a small side branch - we do not need this to be removed. This is the only large tree on our property
