Orkney House Golf Drive Camberley Surrey
Description:
We have two Scots Pines in the front garden which are now dead. And there is one in the neighbours front garden too (The Birches, Golf Drive, not under the TPO). It is suspected to be due to overcrowding. One of the Scots Pines on our land lost its top a few years ago and is the home to a woodpecker every spring, so we are not keen to have that down, but the other two (one on our land and the other on our neighbours) are a hazard I think - both could fall onto the road and one would certainly hit the house if it fell this way. Please see the attached photos: . Tree 1 (in The Birches front garden) has lost its top and has no living branches. The trunk looks sturdy enough. . Tree 2 (in Orkney's front garden) is looking more vulnerable and perhaps diseased? I am not sure if this would have been over 75mm in diameter in 1972? . Tree 3 (in Orkney's front garden) - home to a woodpecker and photos just for reference. We have consulted with two tree surgeons who have encouraged me to submit an application prior to works. Since they are in a TPO area please can you confirm you are happy for these two trees to be removed?
